UX content designer | UX design lead
As a director of content design at Meta, I’m part of a multidisciplinary product leads group. I also manage a content design team. As a lead for the Business Messaging organization, I help set the strategy, direction and culture for a fast-growing product org. In addition, I support a multi-pillar team of content designers, including managers and individual contributors. In Business Messaging, we’re designing the best way for people to connect with the businesses they care about, while providing businesses with great tools to manage those relationships.
Currently, our teams are harnessing the power of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and machine learning to build intuitive, highly-efficient tools that help businesses scale, and save time and effort for consumers.
I joined Facebook (now Meta) in 2017. Prior to my current role, I spent the last few years working on Meta business integrity, with a focus on election integrity. Among the products I helped design are:
Additionally, I helped design the authorization process to run political and social issue ads on the Meta platform, and I named and helped write the corresponding content policy. These transparency products, processes and policies are part of Meta’s efforts to prevent foreign interference and help keep elections free and fair around the world.
I also worked on transparency, trust, safety, privacy and data use across Meta ads, business commerce products.
Before joining Meta, I was a UX strategy lead and content strategist on the Digital Experience team at Wells Fargo.
I live and bike in Oakland, California. You can take a look at a few past projects, below. Or, download a copy of my resume.
